Keeping our community safe

Our drivers report suspicious activities to police. In an emergency, drivers will connect with dispatch if fire, police or emergency medical services are required. They also report road issues, out-of-order traffic lights and missing signs.

All MHT buses are safe for children, adults, seniors and persons with disabilities.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are welcome on all buses. They are required to have proper foot pegs, a seatbelt, casters (steering wheels) to prevent tipping, functional brakes and handles for the driver. You are welcome to board the bus, and our driver will ensure your wheelchair is properly secured. Customers without a properly equipped wheelchair (or scooter) must transfer to a regular seat before departure.

Pets

Certified service dogs are permitted on board. Other small pets, contained in an animal carrier device, are also permitted.

Bike and ride

Bike racks are located on the front of the bus.

Using GPS location, stop number, street name, or route, riders are able to see the location of their bus in real time and when it's expected to arrive with MyRide.
